Oris, oris everywhere...

Oris is a brand with watchmaking tradition and with many watches behind them, and that is where the question is, they have MANY models that are born and die in the same year in addition to their special editions. So me being a lover of this brand I ask you to show your oris and see who has the rarest. I start with my oris williams f1 daydate, since more than a decade ago is with me and I have not seen anyone else have it...maybe it did not sell well?

The rarest Oris is the one I own. Because I don’t. Yet.

I have a soft spot for ORIS because the name is in my family. Very interested in this thread.

Got this one recently, I think this is an entry level Oris?

This is the smaller one (7501) 35ish mm diameter

·

My first Oris a couple years ago was Artix GT day date. I sold it for reason's I cant remember but I'm now on the hunt for another. Quite different than what they offer now. The inner "date wheel" was pretty cool. One of the most comfortable watches I've ever worn.

I can’t contribute. Just want to say that yours looks great👍

·

I believe this is still in production and isn't rare except in as much as most people don't like bronze and/or got one without the bracelet.

Got this one (used) recently to my collection. Pretty old model, but I love it's look and size of 37mm

My wife’s Moonphase is quite nice and I think fairly rare.

I’ll need to drag it out of storage and take a picture of it. but I’m thinking my Dizzy Gillespie commemorative Oris fits the bill. I’ll up date with picture.

Image

OK, here is the Dizzy.

It got me thinking, what about a Frank Sinatra...

It’s not the limited edition which had an eel skin strap but when it is out of production, you grab what you can.

And then the watch that started Oris in Earnest, the Williams’s F1.

I’ve got a Williams F1 also from about 2007. The thing about virtually all the Williams Oris watches is the don’t say Williams F1 on the dial.

·

What the Diver 65 lacks in rarity, it makes up for in character?

I bought my Oris firstly because I love it to bits and secondly so I could comment on posts like this one without breaking the bank.

Thank you! I love your Oris too, and I'm not even a sports watch guy. Those indices are sexy!

·

Amazing, how the day/date wheel shows in the indices!
