How to store straps?

How do you store your straps?

This just came in today and is advertised as a knife holding case on amazon but it seems to work perfectly for my straps.

First and second row are 22mm, third row 18mm and 4th row is 20mm.

What are your strap solutions?

Some in a pot next to the bed, rest chucked in a big box under the bed. I've got lots & lots of straps, mostly NATO's. 🤣

This was working well for me until recently when I bought 1 more strap. It caused chaos if I'm being honest.

I throw all mine in an old biscuit tin 😂

I'm very resistant to change 😜😀

Looks great 👌

Not as posh as your knife case but this does the job

I use that that style of strap cases you can find all over aliexpress, they cost close to nothing. I sort straps by size/watch they usually mount on. And keep bracelets in an individual plastic bag in the mesh part.

I bought one and it was great. So I bought another. And then I ran out space and ordered two more. 😅They’re perfect and cheap and the small size allows me to keep a few in rotation while the rest stay in storage.

I was looking at these before I got mine, wanted to have a lot on display at the same time

I use the exact same case also…someone suggested it here on WC…it was a great suggestion

It might be a little out of hand...

Just a tad 🤣

I have found this to be the most effective storage tool for my straps...

The storage box contains 18 smaller boxes that can hold numerous straps. They are the right size to hold most any length of strap. And the box is archival quality as it is meant to store photos.

You can separate your straps by size in mm, you could arrange them by materials, you could store them by color, etc.

The boxes can be labeled for ease of reference when searching for a particular strap.

Here is the description on Amazon:

Photo Storage Box 4x6, 18 Inner Extra Large Photo Case Large Photo Organizer Acid-Free Photo Box Storage Photo Keeper Photo Storage Case, Plastic Craft Storage Box for Photo Stickers Stamps Seeds (Clear, 18 Boxes)

You can also stack the boxes if you need more than one and it is easy to carry and store almost anywhere.

Here is another option that was discussed earlier by Matthew @Jewbaka

It really works well, I use it for my NATO straps to keep them from having to be folded over.

ICYMI, has anyone tried something like this? | WatchCrunch

I really like your organized case! I used to do a big pile, now the big pile is in a giant pencil caddy that has four compartments and rotates. I had more watch straps than pens and pencils! lol

It's not great for visually picking out a strap on the fly, but it keeps them reasonably organized for now.

Ah okay. That is your common or garden Zuludiver Maverick Sailcloth strap in black with grey stitching. Quite pricey but not Artem Sailcloth pricey. Very good quality though;

I have been using two Haveston strap rolls for home storage.

And a GoRuck shadow pocket small for travel.

I also have a flashbang pouch I use occasionally, but prefer a zipper enclosure.

For my leather, silicone, metal options I picked up several plastic fishing lure boxes. They are shallow, easily stackable/storeable, and user configurable.

I have an inexpensive case designed to ho,d about 40 straps and some accessories. Available on eBay for less than $10
