My day wasn’t complete without an Encino Man reference. Well done, my friend!

There are a few that I muted that have now been transitioned to blocked.

I don't think I've had that problem on here yet, generally it's a great community. So I guess that makes it more important to block and keep the positive vibe.

On another forum I blocked more than I didn't, at that point you know it's time to move on!

I don't mute or block anyone on here. Sometimes, you miss interesting conversations that way.

I really wonder who mutes or blocks me. The number can't be zero.

I feel you, but for me those interesting conversations aren't worth the headaches of interacting with the people I've blocked. It takes a lot though, for me to block or mute someone. They've earned it.

As far as who has me muted/blocked? I know the answer is not zero and that's enough.

What's the difference between muted and blocked?

What's the difference between muted and blocked?

Muted means you can't see their posts/replies; they can still see yours.

Blocked means the blocker/blockee can't see each others posts/replies.

Both still need a bit of work as the comments that get replied to by an unblocked/unmuted person can still be seen, but it's better than nothing.

My goodness! I thought I wrote that for a minute. Then I realized I didn't write that.

·

Hallo!!?….where is everyone?

·

So far so good. I mean everyone has been a positive experience but it’s still nice to have a Troll blocker if you need one in the future. Then tend to pop up out of no where.

Awesome post! 🤩

Thank you for sharing this with us

Keep up the good work 🙌🏾

I remember when I first started in I put on a post of my buddy collection and how pathetic collection he had and ruffled some feathers. But my main thing wanted to prove my point few people got mad at me. I wouldn’t care if they block or muted me. My intention was to be honest and fair. So far I’m not here daily and I pick and choose my comments.

Maybe you don't understand. Posting to point out how pathetic your friend's collection is not in the spirit of this group or any other group worth joining. "Proving your point" is a common excuse for demeaning someone else. It's best to follow the guide, "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all." Of course, there are occasional exceptions like when someone has specifically requested feedback, but in general, it's best to be kind.

Very good point and totally agree. Thank for bringing that out and they way people understand this is a hobby that we all like and see others share amazing what time piece can do.

·

If that person at the cocktail party can't figure out face to face why others keep walking away then that person probably won't have enough online self awareness to know others simply don't enjoy their vibe. It's often their own voice that they find most interesting.

·

I'm naming no names, but thanks for helping me block one of the most arrogant, pompously, self entitled immature rich kids on this site, who felt sharing his daddies watch collection, entitled him to ridicule and shame those who are not fortunate enough to share his family's own level of wealth. Never more, will I have to cringe when I see him posting on WRUW knowing it means a day of him trolling us lesser mortals.

Phew! I heave a sigh of relief. 😮💨

Yeah, I used to do that. Now if I get blocked I look at it as a blessing.
