New Watch Day :)

Been eyeing this one for a couple years. I always figured this would co exist with a Tudor black bay in some form, however now I’m not so sure I’ll ever need another watch again 🤣

The U50 is fantastic, it feels like it perfectly represents me in a watch. If anyone is considering the U50 or any Sinn, I can’t recommend the brand enough!

Love this one

How does the bezel action feel compared to BB or Pelagos?

·

Very cool congrats! Always liked this one as an ultimate tough guy tool watch for any situation. Much In the same regard as my Panerai luminor marina and my Rolex explorer II. Always loved the look of the U50

I was pleasantly surprised by the bezel action! Having never seen a Sinn in the flesh I wasn’t sure what I was getting. However, it certainly feels like it holds up to the asking price. Tudor’s bezel action is right up there with the best of them, I would call this a half step down. The click is not quite as crisp as a Tudor and there is just an ever so slight back play (doesn’t bother me like other divers do, it’s minimal). All in all, very impressed!

Fav diver, finishing, materials, details, real submariner

This one’s even better in the flesh! The 11mm height means the watch disappear on the wrist. With 500m of water resistance and a submarine steel construction, I never have to worry 🙌

My favourite sinn

It’s quickly become a favourite of mine too! Will be hard to beat.

I have been wanting a U1 for ever. Been thinking about selling a couple seikos to get one.

I think the U1 would have been too big for me as I prefer smaller watches. If you don’t mind the size, the U1 sounds like a great option! *Also, 1000m of water resistance is definitely cooler then just 500m 😉*

The back play is deliberate so it doesn't get jammed with sand or sediment. It should align perfectly following the backward move.

Awesome! I’ve been eyeing these a lot lately and I think it’ll be my next purchase in a few months

From a random stranger on the internet, I couldn’t be any happier! 🤣

That's a beautiful watch, I just found that brand and am really interested in the st 103 model, I'm in the states and couldn't figure out how to buy from the maker at least from my phone and tablet, cheers!

·

Congrats! This is my dream watch

·

That’s a fantastic watch. Congrats on getting it’s I too haven’t been eying it for a while now . How’s the lume? It looks bright from your post but I’ve read somewhere it’s a bit underwhelming?

·

I absolutely luv mine. Could darn near be my only watch, but we all know in this group, watches are like LAYS Potato Chips, you can’t just have one…..

·

Splendid ! 🤩🔥

Congratulations! 🥳 🎉👏👏

·

Sinn are one of my favourite brands. Love my U50 too!

Wow that’s a honorable collection you got there. I would go with any of those instead of any Rolex for sure.

In my limited experience, It’s bright when charged with a flashlight but doesn’t last very long.

·

Argh you’ve made me want one again

Thank you for the feedback. But it does look bright enough. It’s definitely on my wish list

Those of you interested in Sinn, order the catalogue. I don't think it's changed (hope not). It's free and hard cover and a joy to read with all of the detail.

·

This is an awesome watch. A excellent example a great German craftsmanship. And that lume is stunning 🤩

·

Couldn’t agree more. The only reason I own other watches is because I’m an idiot watch collector. I really have no reason to own something else

I could even pull it off as a dress watch as it’s thin enough to slip under any cuff and being tegamented it will never look shabby

Love the U50, on my buy list for this year! Still debating if U50t is worth the extra dough...

I had a Ux for a few years that wasn’t tegamented and it was unblemished by the time I sold it so while they are hard wearing I’d recommend going for the tegamented version as the peace of mind that you get after it survives a whack against the wall completly unmarked is priceless 😊

If you are hard on your watches and the ones you have are scratched and dinged then go tegamented if you are a little more gentle then the standard will be more than tough enough for daily life and continue to look good for years

I think the clasp is my only gripe with the watch. However, it wears so comfortably and looks so good… I can live with it :)

That’s the thing. It’s very easy to just type this on a forum without actually having one to wear. I mean I justify all the quirks of my vintage watches and absolutely love them, but there’s something that just doesn’t let me pull the trigger
