I am attracted by the spring drive like a moth to a flame.
That said, 40mm with those male end links is at my limit for a dress watch. A 38mm spring drive would be perfection to me.
Congratulations on your catch. Have it in red and love it. My most accurate timekeeper at the moment, and the design is something I like more and more as the months pass.
With a 16.5 (6.5 inch) wrist I have plenty of choice. I like trying straps and found several that can make a watch more comfortable.
Vintage watches are fine on my wrist, that's a cool bonus.
My arch-enemies are long straight lugs, hate watches trying to plunge off my wrist 😀
I could make an exception for the Bulova Lunar Pilot... definitely have to go to an AD to try it.
I got in November... It is still growing on me. Great dial, case and movement. Unusual design that stands out from the crowd, especially the case sides. Strap friendly.
The minuses are poor water resistance and the crystal that is reflective and can become cloudy under a strong light. I noticed it with the led stripe of my wardrobe.
