My duro wasn't perfect, but it was good. I just picked up an eco drive promaster to test the lume, and it's pretty much dead on. My steel navigator is also basically dead on, and my mudmaster is perfect but has a whole hand alignment operation it can do, which is kind of cheating. I didn't have to mess with it out of the box at least. I will admit that I'm somewhat anxious about buying expensive quartz watches because of how prevalent alignment issues seem to be, but I guess I've been fortunate.
Edited to add a picture since I was still on here when 5am rolled around.

It's really difficult to get complete alignment on quartz. My other Duro bezel is off by a bit, and my Promaster has a seconds hand that half of the times misses slightly the markers (it's my champion of lume). My Bulova Jet Star hours hand is off by a bit, and my old Hamilton khaki quartz does what is possible at his age, it was probably very good when it was new.
My Duro ... bezel is perfectly aligned, but as with many quartz pieces, the second hand doen't always hit the mark! LOL! Oh well, still love it anyways! ๐
You have no idea how much this relates to me. Seiko is my favorite brand but I canโt even buy from them because the bezel insert, the chapter ring, and even the hands donโt align at the hour when the minute hand is at 12. This is something that can even make collecting a chore instead of a joy due to this hyper attention to detail.
This is one that can be perfectly aligned due to a friction style unidirectional bezel. But I would probably be the only one to realize that the seconds hand isnโt perfectly flat and has a slight bend up towards the crystal. Only I would notice such a thing. Oh well. When it needs a battery, Iโll ask the hand be bent straight. Iโll take my loss for a practically perfect watch I love!
I'm starting to get used to the 44mm size on my wrist. I rotate the watchbsnds between the plastic band that came with it, a nato strap, and a steel bracelet.

Yup, they did a great work with the curved lugs to help with the large size.

Nice, Duro excels again!
My 3 Duros
But your bezel is 180 degrees out - that would do my head in ๐

Yes, I was timing work. When I had the idea to take the picture... It was 10:59:56 and the phone was locked ๐
