GS Sakura Battle🌸🌸

I went to compare the GS Sakura Spring Drive 40mm and the High Beat 38mm which was launched this year. The case thickness looked roughly the same, yet the 38mm was priced 10% higher. Which one would you get??

Let me know which and why in the comments below.

I am attracted by the spring drive like a moth to a flame.

That said, 40mm with those male end links is at my limit for a dress watch. A 38mm spring drive would be perfection to me.

SBGA413 with the Spring Drive for me. Why? The pink color on that one is lot more subtle between the 2 watches in real life. The Spring Drive movement doesn't have the accuracy issues that the hi-beat has.

The only reason for a grand seiko is the spring drive...

40mm spring drive

But of course 40 mm Spring Drive

·

38mm, cleaner dial without the power reserve indicator

·

Wait for GS to put the spring drive in the 38mm case. It’s inevitable and when they do it’ll be perfect.

·

wear whats comfortable or it spends all of its time looking pretty in your watch box.

Smaller is always better. 👌

Don't buy either, wait for a 38mm spring drive.

Would go with the spring drive. People generally hate the power reserve gauge, bit I find it to be a part of GS dial design which I really dig 👍

·

I would really need to see them on wrist - both look awesome. If I was going to get a GS, then the Spring Drive would really be what I used as the differentiator - in your side by side pick the 40mm case does seem to bug your wrist better perhaps?
