Latest Acquisition
My wife and I were leaving for a cruise vacation from New York City. At dinner I commented to her that because of my crazy work schedule this fall (I’m a lawyer and I have two major trials between now and the end of the year), I might not be able to do any Christmas shopping before Christmas. She said, well then let’s doing our Christmas shopping now. Three hours later, she had a new handbag, and I had this incredible Omega Aqua Terra.
The Aqua Terra had been on my radar for a while, but I was probably leaning towards the blue dial before I saw them in person. But once I saw this version of the Small Seconds, I knew this was the one. The dial looks much, much better in person. It photographs as if it were white, but it’s really closer to silver with amazing light play. And the small seconds is very visually dynamic. The size is also pretty much ideal. It’s a good size with plenty of wrist presence, but not as bulky as a dive watch. I’ve barely taken it off since I got it the weekend before last.
If you’re looking for a good go anywhere/do anything watch, go see this in the metal. And Merry (Early) Christmas.

Well done my friend! The AT is such an amazing piece. I've had one since last Christmas and it's my (almost) daily driver. Like you, I got the bracelet at original purchase, but over the calendar year I've gotten a leather strap/deployant, and the blue rubber strap. Literally any occasion and the AT is right at home. Congrats!!

My dad had an Omega when I was a kid. I still, to this day and many years later, have a soft spot in my heart for them. Congrats, and if you have kids, don't ever let it go. My dad's is nowhere to be found now and I wish I had it.
