I suppose they have to have the red bull branding somewhere.

If you're going to be wet all day racing boats then an ultra light carbon fibre case and fabric strap seem appropriate. Definitely more fitting than most stainless sport watches.

This was my dad's watch. Essentially the watch that started my interest in watches. I've toyed with idea of getting it polished when I get it serviced (I think he would have appreciate me looking after something in that way) but I'm also worried of losing his story on this watch, which I also intend on passing down.

I've seen this done with different things before. It's great seeing it popping up in different places. Someone will eventually spoil the fun though. As long as the "owner" is aware of that.
