I recently bought this Ball Fireman Enterprise and I am completely mesmerized by it. It's the only watch in my collection that has a stainless steel bracelet... Which is what I prefer to wear on a daily basis, so it looks like this is the watch that's going to get the most mileage!
It's the Bulova Archive Series. Mil Ships model. Its a diver. I love it. The standard edition is nice. The limited edition is super expensive, but it's all relative
I have a slightly different perspective on this... Yes you were sold on the Hamilton, but then you were "exposed" to the Seiko and now its triggered something in you. That is exactly what this hobby is about. Its about learning who you are, what you like, how your tastes evolve and enjoying that journey. So I think by all means let people influence you and let that be one more data point to consider!!! Having said that...I have a handful of watches I am lusting for also, well above the Seiko price point and this Seiko interrupted it! Now I can't get it out of my head... its a beautiful watch. Something about that dial keeps drawing me in...
