18 month sober celebration
Taking along the Casio Duro for my sobriety celebrations today. Such a fit watch for the occasions. Little bit classy, little bit ready for anything. Kinda like I have to be each day. See what kind of adventures this evening brings 😊 anyone else have a go to celebratory watch or timepieces they go to?? If so I'd love to see them!!

I bought this for 100lb weight loss. My vice was food…..I like taking this watch hiking and along for outdoor adventures…..which is what helped me meet my goal.

Congratulations, I know it isn't an easy journey. I have quite a few friends who have done it. One who has been sober for almost 25yrs now is visiting in two days.

Yes!! So much time ahead that can be filled with so many meaningful things and people and places!! Just gotta take it one day at a time.

Thank you, it's nice to be acknowledged for my accomplishments in this regard. I love with other recovering addicts and it seems like others just don't want it as bad as I do, so I get dis heartened. Reading your message fills me up. The watch is kinda cool though.

Of course and thank you. I’m very fortunate. I wore it to my wedding, my wife wears it to family events, I wore it during the birth of my daughter…. So def have some life events tied to it and love the idea of it being generational.
Cool news is I have some watches tied to my Dad as well, along with watches from my wife like my Hamilton Aluminum and a Seiko 5 that are just as “special event” pieces as a gold Rolex. Makes this hobby fun and lasting.
