What is the best Hamilton field watch?

I’m look into to getting a Hamilton field watch and I honestly can’t decide I was wonder what some more experienced watch collectors thought.

FYI I’m wanting the ones available in 37-38mm. Going to be a everyday watch.

I'd vote for the Expedition, I've had a Mechanical, a couple of Kings and the Murph and none stayed in the collection for more than a few weeks due to lack of AR coating and flat printed fauxtina numerals made for naff legibility.

Apparently it's sorted on the Expedition, tho I'd want to check myself in hand first . 👍🏻🤞🏻

Mech for me, needs a good acrylic tho, IMO.

This is from '16 and was a better variant/take. Hand crankers are just fun.

I just picked up the auto in 42, is the lack of AR horrible? Yes lol but I actually don't notice it when I'm looking at the time and don't think about it. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the choices.

Thanks man watch looks slick!

I like the Murph ... not only because of its Interstellar connections, but because those cathedral-style hands give it such a unique look!

Khaki auto. I was debating between the mechanical and auto. But for me it was also about getting the right strap/bracelet and I loved the auto on the steel bracelet (perfect gada)

Best classic : Mecanical

Most convienent : Auto

Most beautiful : Murph

Most practical : Expedition

·

As the Interstellar fan, gotta choose the Murph here

·

I've had a KFM 42mm white dial and I have a Murph currently. The Murph is more watch, but I like them both and would recommend either.
