Fortunate to have finally snagged my grail watch recently.

For everyday timing, the dive bezel is way more useful than a chronograph.

By "awkward" I believe you mean "cool."

As in everyone watching you is thinking, "Wow, what a cool guy. I wish I had a nice watch like him." 🤔

This is always a tough one. I have had to sell watches from my collection for exactly the same reason. My taste has evolved over time and I only like to wear smaller watches on my skinny wrist nowadays.

I now have to make a similar decision on my Omega Seamaster 300 "Spectre," a watch I really love but never wear anymore.

Absolutely. Apart from the bezel that sets it apart, this model also has a unique dial / case combination. It has the dial with larger markers but the more compact case before the Subs shifted to the "maxi case." So it's modern but also still feels vintage. I have a skinny wrist so I am partial to smaller watches and this is about as large as I'm willing to wear these days.

I prefer the look of the Certina but most likely because it reminds me of my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean but in a better (for me) size.
