Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I found my dad's Omega Geneve Dynamic more than 10 years after he passed and restored it.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
The one I remember is a Citizen Ana-Digi, circa 1978.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
I believe you should save the expensive watches for milestone events. My first Rolex was purchased when I took a former client to small claims court. The money I recovered was exactly the a mo needed to buy a Rolex do that's what I did with it.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Take your time! Don't rush into every impulse purchase. Figure out the styles you tend to gravitate towards and go for quality.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Seiko (always) Old Tudors (more interesting than the new ones) Microbrands Brew, BOLDR, NTH
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Omega Speedmaster Silver Snoopy (Apollo 13 version). Love Speedies, Snoopy, the Apollo 13 movie, white dials, NASA...i could go on and on.
