Loading the airplane

Is it just me, or does anyone else try to check out other people’s watches as they walk by boarding the plane?

Look at the watch, look at the person, and then judge away haha.

All the timeeee

This is the entire premise of my weekly column.

Where else would I get content from? 😉

Some chap noticed I was wearing a Bremont U22 whilst flying home ,I had a chat and he was wearing a Tudor GMT

·

Ohhhh yeah baby! I’m always looking. My first watch ever was a swatch, my second an invicta.

·

Very dangerous line of sight, that one

·

With this watch the crew probably had to move luggage and passengers around to rebalance the plane.

If you ever go to Japan and ride the train during rush hour. You get nothing but eye candy.

I'd once lied about how I'm socially awkward and shy because I was trying to figure out what watch he was wearing. I looked like a blue Rolex Yacht-master but I can't see the crown. I didn't want to be rude and ask him if he is wearing a fake one. I even tried a left-hand shake and lied that I was a leftie and how I'd hurt my right hand.

Boarding the plane? I check what watch people are wearing all. the. time.

It really became an OCD, that's actually the first thing I check when I meet anyone. That's where I'm at...

Great hobby !!! LMAO 😂

I guess Watchcrunch is part of my therapy, hanging out with other nerds is supposed to help 😜

I do and I feel no guilt!

·

You're NOT alone! I have wrist fetish!! 🤓🤣

·

Don’t travel on planes much but I work at a hospital and all the docs and executives are into watches.. you could just guess how much they make on average by the watch on their wrist.. Most of the ice breakers is by complimenting on the watch..

·

Well I don't fly much, but I do watch spot! I find it sad some when I see a black face and think oh yeah - 'smart' watch and keep walking. As for a striking model, it becomes a talking point for me, esp since I will have some interesting too - personal opinion - but it will generally have a back story of some kind. When you are a collector, or an enthusiast, it's hard for me not to become involved!

You're lucky; the hospital I work in doesn't allow anything from the elbow down other than gloves - I hate it, but it's understandable.

All the damn time 😂

I’m always looking to see what’s on someone’s wrist. Airport, the train, bus, at work, in the street. On tv!

Best part about flying coach is wrist-checking everyone in first class.
