Favorite YouTube Watch Channel?

Apart from the superb WatchCrunch channel (big thumbs up to Max 😉), what other channels do we like?

My favorite’s are (in no order of merit):

  • Bark & Jack: I particularly like Adrian’s thoughts and views.  I find him down to earth, balanced and he has a unique style which I find very watchable.
  • Caseback Watches: I find Tim (the presenter) typically German, very matter of fact, more vintage / micro-brand orientated and a pleasant change from some of the more (what I would call) normal YouTubers. He is a talented guy (makes quality leather products and plays the guitar exceptionally well).
  • Watchfinder & Co: I quite like the dives into the technical side of things, which are not too in-depth. A video watching the presenters hands holding a watch for half the time is not that interesting, but the narrative is generally well put together.
  • The Timeless Watch Channel: This channel is more about lifestyle, wine and whisky and high-end investment watches: Rolex, Omega, etc.  Oisin O'Malley, was a member of a band called MR NORTH, now he lives in Venice and we just follow his watch collecting journey. It is unscripted, nicely filmed and I like his style.

YoureTerrific by a country mile.

I also appreciate WatchChris for posting very up-to-the-minute watch news videos.

·

I have to add Ben’a Watch Club to the list. While he doesn’t cover the high end watches, I can’t help watch his dive into the everyday.

·

One of my favourites is Pete McConville's  Not So Obvious Watches.

It's much different than most watch related YouTube channels, and even though I don't always agree with what he has to say, he always gets me thinking.

·

I like Teddy Baldassarre, he is on there to sell his watches but overall think he does a good job https://youtube.com/c/TeddyBaldassarre

·

A specific segment of Hodinkee, "Hey Hodinkee" is pretty good. As for independent creators like Max, I'd add Jenni Ellie to the list.

Totally agree :-)

I likethe IDguy. He looks at watches from ( in his words) from the perspective of industrial design. I like the way he frames things. For example this recent video discussing why green dialed watches are the thing right now. https://youtu.be/4S398VU-mBQ

Me too!  I'm supporting him on pattern.com, which shows how I enjoy his videos ;)

big fan of Uptick, Tim Mosso at Watchbox obvi,  Federico/JohnP usually have interesting content, Paul Thorpe, Austin Daniels. Also, TheDubaiExpat and LondonWatchCollector have some amazing pieces

·

I appreciate Times Ticking because I'm a Vintage guy:

https://youtube.com/c/TimesTicking

I also like Brave Beaters, he has an interesting take on modern watches:

I enjoy Goldammer Vintage Watches. When thease guys put up a watch for sale they first bring a great historical perspective into the picture:

This guy is also trying to do good, Simply Vintage Watches 😂:

Gotta second Caseback Watches, Tim is great. Also love Relative Time, Watch it All About, and I think Watch Gringa and Jenni Elle are both killing it too. And of course, can't forget Half Past Blog.

·

My go-to is pretty much watchcrunch and fed. i like a short and concise video. Some of these that go over 30 minutes are too long for me. That’s podcast territory 😁

·

Jenni Elle is my secret watch crush.

·

My favorites are : Spencer Klein KVW, Vintage Watch Services and Richard Perrett Watchmaker and Nekkid Watchmaker. And if you like fishing The Lateral Line. I'm more interested in repair restoration than reviews but if something catches my eye I'll watch it.

HonestWatchReviews

I'm honoured to even be mentioned in amongst these other channels 🙏

I enjoy your channel greatly. One of my favorites for sure.

My take is that Youtubers, like bloggers, when they start is driven by an idea to present their message and view unbiased to an audienc. After some success they are changing from enthusiasm to business. Could be partnership, starting sales channel or even become an AD. I like the startups and independent. Favorites right now the already mentioned Caseback watches, You’re terrific, Not so obvious watches. I can toss in Watchcrunch as well. I for sure watch others  but they are without commercial b****t and my favorites right now. Must be hundreds i missed though.

·

I'm subscribed to Relative Time, Just One More Watch, Honest Watch Reviews, Just the Watch and Ben's Watch Club. But I also watch Jenni Elle, occasionally the Urban Gentry (that one can grate a bit sometimes), occasionally Federico, Bark & Jack and others whose names escape me for now. I don't have the money for haute horology, so tend to follow the content of more everyday-priced watches.

Will check out some of the others on here that I'm not familiar with - thanks, all, for naming some that are new to me.

My favorites are: The Urban Gentry, Teddy Baldassare, The Mad Watch Collector, Ben's Watch Club, and Just the Watch. By watching these channel, I can learn more about watches and brush up my English at same time!

·

I enjoy a lot of those already mentioned, but I think my actual favorite might be WatchAdvisor. He provides an extremely detailed and thorough examination of a watch, with all the relevant information and measurements included.

I don't think I've seen WatchAdvisor mentioned in this thread yet, so consider this a recommendation to check it out!

Max

I believe mad watch collector is here as well!  @MWC2020

Thank you Max!!!!

·

It’s just one more watch for me.

·

Hodinkee (especially Talking Watches, Reference Points, and Hey Hodinkee!), Fratello (Especially RJ), Crown & Caliber (Mark on Hidden Gems), Teddy B, Jenni Elle, Bark & Jack, Jodi on Just One More Watch, IDGuy, and Watchfinder (10 minute format ones without the talking microphones). Of the brand run channels, Blancpain and Omega have some good documentary-style content buried in their uploads.

Just One More Watch, Mad watch collector
