For me, the bracelet has to be comfortable; having easy-adjust function (e.g. T-fit, etc.) helps. The movement is important because (1) accuracy (2) the way the crown feels when I wind it. The stiff winding on my Tag Heuer Carrera Date always plays on my mind when I wear it. And lastly it's the brand; I'd want to wear an Omega or Rolex over an Orient if there's a need to impress.
Everyone has their own preferences. MVMT has nice designs if you view them as clothing accessories rather than timepieces. Personally I would rather spend the same money on a Casio/Citizen/Seiko.
This is why you should always save up and wait for the watch you want, because you may not like it as much when the time comes. Impulse is a gateway to regret.
