This is an honest question

I'm a little curious how many here have saved up for a watch that you wanted, just to back out once you had the funds? Was it because you had second thoughts? Was it because you fell out of love with the watch you originally saved up for? Or Was it because after saving up you thought OK now what? And what I mean is you saved up all that money, but you say to yourself is this watch really worth it? I'm hoping to keep saving up till July that's when I have a BD coming up I don;t have an exact budget but I'm trying to stay around that $700-1k mark maybe a little less.

Ask me after I sell one more watch and then start hunting

My personal opinion is if your saving money keep saving and go for a grail watch. It's worth the wait. If your asking yourself "is it really worth it" than it probably isn't what you really want rather what you can afford now and although it'll satisfy for a while it won't cure the itch.

I've backed out of 2 watches after saving up for them.

Both times, after saving up the money, I just couldn't spend it on a watch. I decided to save it or spend it on experiences.

This is why you should always save up and wait for the watch you want, because you may not like it as much when the time comes. Impulse is a gateway to regret.
