What to take....

I took a stroll through my local shopping mall. Had to get my exercise in. I had to go to TJ MAX to look at some Seikos they supposedly had. They were gone. Not a watch in the store for sale. I went by Zales and seen all of the Bulovas. JC Penny with all of the Citizens. Nothing caught my attention or gave me a stirring in my loins.

I went to my friend's store to see if he had anything new. Low and behold he had a Seamaster. I had to try it on. It's used but looks unworn. Full set, box and papers $3700.

I thought about it but I'm not sure if it's worth it. It wore nice but not $3700 nice. Not to me anyway.

I walked around the corner of the display case and this was sitting there nice and pretty.

I can have this 2023 Datejust for $12,500. They even have an older 36mm Datejust, same color, full set for $5700. I may be going back for it. I haven't made up my mind. Decisions, decisions!

Love the dial colour on the omega 😍

·

Though I don’t think I’ll ever have a $1K watch, but that Omega is lovely.

·

I can't tell if this is satire or not.

·

Nice dilemma to have. I’m a bit biased, I’d have gone for the Omega, love ‘em!

·

Omega Seamaster AT is awesome with a good price for used. That DJ is about 4500-5000 over retail, I’d pass on that. The 36 DJ is at least 1000 under retail and probably a good buy.

I’d pick the AT, better looking, METAS certified and you’d save 2 grand.

·

The older 36mm datejust would probably be my pick.

·

The AT for multiple reasons

·

The AT at price is an awesome deal, but not worth it if it's not "the watch" you are looking to pick up.

It would be my choice, not even close.

·

That Omega is on my list and will be one of my next buys very soon. I have a Datejust (12634) that I love, but that Aqua Terra is calling to me.

·

You know which one I would pick. Good luck with the decision my friend.

I love that white dj but oof! That price tag!

·

$12k for a seemingly stainless steel date just...🥹

It's white gold and stainless.

·

The Aqua Terra wins that competition hands down.

I wouldn’t pay $5700 for a Date Just if it was NIB from an AD.

·

I would go with the Omega

·

Omega, always.
