For the big Pilot 43, they actually addressed the issue with the onion crown. It sits slightly higher, so taller and closer to the sapphire crystal. So it doesn’t dig into the wrist as much as the big Pilot 46.

Yeah that’s one of the things that stopped me initially, I also said to myself that if I did purchase the Tudor Black Bay 58 bronze, I’ll probably just wear it on the fabric strap.

The spitfire looks amazing and I agree, it would have been a great choice but I already own a mark xviii. So I think they’re too similar. But it is a gorgeous watch. Who knows, maybe someday when I finally get to hold it and wear it, I might just pull the trigger on it.

I do like the patina but I think I’ll probably clean it once in awhile. Depends on my mood I guess haha.

Yes I did! I decided not to put that in the post as the infatuation was rather short lived compared to the rest haha. I would love to try it first though.
