New Vario manual in the watchbox!
Just got a new Vario delivered - a Black Mother of Pearl Empire. This was a ‘just because’ watch. I was first introduced to the Vario brand when won a Vario 1918 in a charity auction last year run by @HotWatchChick69 (thanks again Brian). This Christmas, my wife and I got red and green Vario Versas, again great quality finishes and good looking cases:
So, when the Vario Empires appeared on the WC site, I got interested, but it was @JaeBust posting a similar watch on WRUW that really got me looking. So, got the watch. Beautiful Mother of Pearl and Guilloche dial. Non hacking manual Miyota 6T33 movement with a very smooth wind. Open case back. Soft Italian leather quick change bands and a very supple nylon make this strap monster right out of the box. Overall a beautiful modern take on an Art Deco design. As always, great service, quick delivery and good pictures from Ivan and Judy, they’re the best.

Love how the Varios look! A shame I haven’t got one yet - I’m waiting till they re-release the other colours in the Empire collection!
