Ultimately, I think GS or KS will also be my next major Seiko Group purchase too, seeing as they are truly the next level up in terms of finishing, design and movement.

I forgot this nickname existed for the SSK, I only ever think about it in the context of the GMT Master.
Oh yeah I forgot a hot take (this probably more of a warm take) - Longines has the most interesting watch lineup of any entry-level luxury brand that isn’t Tudor.
