Perhaps an unpopular opinion but I don't think I'll be purchasing a dedicated dress watch. I work remotely and only rarely find myself in formal events. I rather own pieces that can be dressed up, rather than ones that I'd need to dress down.
This is why the SBGX259 peaks my interest as a potential next piece. I feel it will fit in greatly with shorts or a suit. Although as a Brazilian I definitely appreciate the Santos being named after one of our greatest inventors
It is quite a looker indeed. I got to try it the other day. I'd be curious to try the SPB297 some day. That has "Grand Seiko dial" written all over it
I tend to choose all of my watches based on everyday wearability. That being said, this my daily driver at the moment

I bought a BB58 blue about a month ago, and as soon as I got home with it I noticed that it was scratched at the store. Since then it's been sent it for a bezel replacement. I am hopeful that in the next week or two I will finally get my watch back. I am beyond excited to wear it
How do you like the Nomos? Thinking of pulling the trigger later in the year, in the same colour as well
