Sinn 556 Vs Longines Spirit 37

I don't have a picture of the Sinn 556A however:

  1. Between the LS37 and Sinn556A, which is the better watch?

  2. Is this 37mm too small for my wrist?

Thanks for the feedback!

I would argue 37mm isn’t too small for anyone’s wrist. As for which is better, I think it depends on what you want and personal preference. If I were looking for a GADA watch which tool-watch vibes, it’s the Sinn all day. If I wanted more versatility on the dressier side of things I’d say the Longines. Either way, you can’t go wrong.

If its an everyday kind of watch I would pick the black or champagne dial Longines Spirit. Here is my blue one!

Thank you! I thought about getting a Longines Spirit 37 mm for about a year and have no regrets so far. I also like that it has a chronometer grade movement with magnetic resistance. To me, that makes it more compelling than the Sinn.

37 is not too small. And both are great. But I personally prefer the visuals of the 556

Easy choice Longines

It’s not too small at all! It looks perfect.

Sinn and Longines are two different animals. Yes, the Spirit is an aviator watch, but in a way that I’d expressed quite differently than Sinn’s approach. I really don’t compare them at all.

Asking which is a better watch is a fair question so long as you’re ready for wildly divergent opinions. “Better in what way?”, is the hard opener.

For my two cents worth I would suggest the Longines Spirit is the better watch inasmuch as the movement is excellent - really a cut above and designed ‘in house’ for Longines by ETA. Finishing and design are all there, too.

I could happily say good things about Sinn as well…

It all comes down to which one you really, truly LOVE and not anything you think you ought to have, or should have (which is a nonsense).

Have fun! 😃

Better how? Sounds like a loaded question. I would suppose it would depend on how you wanted to use them. Both are fantastic watches. Pears and oranges (I try to forget about apple). And I would argue 37mm is a fantastic size for all but the biggest wrists. I think your good no matter what.
