I vote for the Casio, but I don’t actually like either. Just because the original PSR was an early digital and was worn by- at best- the 4th best James Bond actor (HOT TAKE!!) doesn’t mean anyone should empty their wallet for it now!

Agreed. While I respect the history, I think it's a novelty more than anything. Meanwhile the A168 is value through and through
Yes, the Casio is loved dearly but the back story behind the Hamilton is immense. Picked one up a few weeks back in Macy's, NY. I love it.
How's durability on this piece? I'm currently in the market for a highly legible watch which I can wear during my weekend volunteer shifts. Doesn't need to be indestructible, but if it can withstand some daily wear that'd be great.
Also, did you have a chance to see the green light version? How does it compare with the red in real life?
Both look great, Red and Green. I went for red as I think it is more iconic and original to me. I would have been as happy with Green, but my OCD told me to go original. The thing is built like a tank. I can see this lasting my lifetime. Battery change with new OLED Screen is supposed to be 5 years. Yes, quality build and built extremely well. I would recommend it. 100%

My guess is this won't be much of a battle. That Casio is beloved.

I figured the Hamilton could have a chance since it was in James Bond. I was very mistaken

Buy the Casio and
The Hamilton is an icon with an interesting history.
The Casio is a watch.

The Casio would be an appropriate “happy 13th birthday, here’s a big boy watch” gift. The Hamilton is for adults.
