The 2016 Glashütte Original Panomatic Lunar anthracite dial
These watches are good. Prices have gone up, which is not good.
Still, this one offers quality and features not of a norm for watches at this tier. That’s my excuse.
I remember my first reactions to the text on the dial: “Why is it necessary to have the word ‘Moonphase’ next to the moonphase?” Then when I saw the watch first hand it became clear: the arrangement of the text is part of the asymmetric balance of the dial. “Ooh.”

Don't usually like asymmetrical dials or dates, but really works here 😍👍

Just purchased 2 watches to finish off my self imposed budget for 23, thought that I would attempt to just add one more in 24, seeing that moonphase thinking 2-3 might be more realistic. I prefer buying my watches from ads, Glashutte Original is retailed at a shop where I have no experience with, I was guilty of being lazy when I shopped for watches last week. Ironically a young man who sold me a White Birch a year ago insisted that I needed to check out GO which he sold for a previous employer. Fella was a genuine watch enthusiast.

Looks like a knock-off: they couldn't even spell the words on the dial correctly (still one of the funniest things that I've ever read about watches 🤣)
Absolutely stunning. I think that GO is one of the more overlooked brands. At the price point, it represents significant value, as do most German brands. The Panorama is easily one of my favorites

It’s worth a look. GO prices aren’t nearly as good value as they were five years ago, but i think this one can be had without a nose bleed.

It is. I know the word ‘stealth’ is used a lot but this one is like a shadow. The distressed grey nubuck OEM strap tones it down even further.

New they’re now overpriced. I took this off the hands of a merchant who was emptying stock, and got it 40% under retail complete with GO service papers. One previous owner who hardly wore it, so an all round top deal.

They’ve hiked their prices like everyone else, which sucks. They are beautiful watches, absolutely, and generally do different from others in their price range. Also, they have no intention of increasing production and are happy to tick along as they are.

I don’t think GO is overpriced, objectively, given the details of the product. However, depreciation against MSRP is pretty heavy leading to a decline in precipitation of the brand. I think this is unfortunate. But the market does mean that preowned GO represents a great value to watch buyers, imho.
And I think the anthracite is underrated against say the green or silver. But it should not me

This is the grey/anthacite one. It’s probably photographed the least of all the variants since the others are so pretty.
The green is gorgeous, but this would be the one that actually got wrist time in the real world imo. Def underrated color.
