I’m from Michigan, USA. I inherited the watch disease from my father. My first watch was a mid 1980s Pulsar Galileo moon watch. I currently have 20+ watches in my collection and I’m trying to downsize, but sabotage my efforts constantly by purchasing. 🤷♂️
I’m wearing my Grand Seiko SPGA201 today. One thing I really like about this watch is the date font used between the 1st and the 9th. They really made...
I’m looking at that one myself. I’ve been thinking that I would really like to add a red dial sports watch to my collection, but have struggled to find the perfect one.
The Oris Aquis Cherry is nice, but I already have a Planet Ocean and one overly chunky diver is enough for me.
I really like this Minase watch. Pretty much exactly what I want, but not sure I want to spend $7000+ just to add a red dial.
The Seiko in the post above is nice, but the framed date window really detracts from the red dial.
This may be the perfect compromise, but I hate that I can’t see it first and have to make a decision in just a few days. I’ll probably end up doing nothing.

Could be worse. Go to some other forums and they’ll tell you straight away you’ve got a box full of shi**ers. I appreciate that people here, and personally, I comment on whatever I like regardless of price and say nothing if I don’t, regardless of price.
I had a similar problem with an old Tag F1 I got from a pawn shop. The 2004-2007 version side of the case and the crown guard are injection molded rubber. So the part that takes the most hits is the part that starts given up chunks of itself. When it got bad, I looked into getting it fixed. Like I said, injection molded, so can’t buy replacement bumpers; you need to buy a whole new case! The price was $400 ish, which was about $100 more than I paid for the watch. So it was donated. I hope someone is enjoying it.

Pilot field for me, but not really a gap. I’m lukewarm on field watches and dislike pilot watches immensely. I could be talked into a Glycine Airman, though.
