which one would you choose?

Hi watch crunch fam,

I was about to go ahead with the Longjness Conquest 2023 but when I tried it on it was way too big, 41 mm felt like a pancake. I was so disappointed. I went today to my dealer and check out these 4 beauties. All blended in beautiful on my wrist. I need your help. your suggestion which one to go ahead with. Background for this purchase. its 10 year working anniversary. started from a low end IT help desk type of job and moved up the ladder and travel around the world and working now as a global corporate role for my organization. Currently my assignment is India. I am a first gen German Vietnamese. Mid 30s. Nature element. Jazz lover. Extrovert. A bit of my collection. I love dive watches and sporty dressy watches. I enjoy from affordable, microbrand and luxury. So, i have a bunch of Seiko from SkX gmt, alpanist, panda speedmaster, vintage seiko some mods as well. affordable swiss Certina Ds diver, Doxa sub200 white, tissot Banana heritage, Prx. swatch. got 3 San Martin divers. Bulova fly me to the moon. cartier Tank solo xl. rolex day date black dial. Ciga design 2. some local Indian brand watch. zeppelin. citizen titanium. Mondain. Seagull. casio duro. and of course Gshocks. sorry for the long message.

That is one of the prettiest Divers 65 I've seen. The others are nice, but this one is the winner to me.

·

I don't think you could go wrong with the Diver 65.

I have the D65 Heritage and love it.

Wears like a dress watch (not that I own a dress watch...) and has the utility of a dive watch, or at least a skin diver. Plus I never get tired of looking at it!

I like all of these but I love the way the seiko looks probably the most

Should be the same- SW200-1

Tough choices, all nice looking watches. I'm torn between the Aquis and 65. As much as I love the Aquis I'm more into vibrant colors. I'd go with the Diver 65. Good luck.

1 3 2 4 in that order

·

Easy pick for me! Nomos a close second

Seiko makes awesome dials. But the movement in the king seiko is sht. Sorry 🫠

Out of these 4 i'd go for the looks of the diver 65

·

I would go with the Nomos as I am looking to get one myself. The king Seiko would be my choice if it wasn't for the ludicrous price they want.

·

E: Longines Legend Diver 36mm

·

I think you can't go wrong with any of them.. but I'd pick the Nomos as it would stand out and round out your collection

thanks mate.

I would happily buy the Longines on the second hand market, they loose way too much after retail purchase price so it’s on my radar also but not at retail..

·

First of all, congrats on your work accomplishment! 🥳 Secondly, I would pick Oris Diver 65 in more monochromatic option (I plan on buying it one day) because I like those "boring" watches, after all - I am an introvert 😁 Since you're on the opposite side, this Sunset version would be great option for you! 😁

I had a D65 and have a Oris Aquis. In my opinion the Aquis is a far better watch. I have had poor accuracy from most Seiko’s I have owned (possibly just unlucky) so I’m not prepared to play the Seiko accuracy lottery any more. For me it’s between the Aquis and the Nomos, in your business role I think the Nomos would suit you better.

stunning

I’ll share some truths about my Oris 65 sunset. Being bronze 2 tone I intentionally sourced second hand because bronze patina is a worn look so I felt a case with the odd marks would help its character. Fortunately I found a local private seller on Chrono 24 and got a fair deal so saved more than half the retail price with the bracelet having patina and case was in great condition. Bonus! Anyway, I don’t get worried if I ever bang this watch. I also found that the bronze on the bracelet would make my wrist go green after a few weeks which you can clean but the smell of the bracelet is like old pennies (some don’t like that smell). I found in warm climates that my wrist size changes throughout the day so the bracelet is not ideal for me because there’s no on the fly options (including after market). However it’s a strap monster so rubber and leather straps have been great. Re: Nomos, I think that will be my next watch however shiny cases usually means easier to scratch.

true. but lets say i can get it with a hefty 30% discount? what u think

I think that particular watch is about twice the price it should be.

·

yeah thats also true.

I wouldn’t buy any of these personally. May I recommend the Nivada Grenchen F77? Or a Tutima Seven Seas? They are both available in India.
