Horses for courses. Isn’t that what the Sealander is for? Round gives it that retro look that I think they are going for. I personally prefer the mid century look, so I think it’d be a shame if they all had square indices.

Yes, based on mid century USN diver spec indices, like many dive watches (Blancpain, Sub etc). I get the look they're going for, I just dislike round indices - dunno why, no logic or reason, I just find them visually jarring. 😥

Funny, they kind of connect it to that Dune movie (using same font as the movie in the ad) but don’t mention it directly
