First world problems 🙈🤣 picking a watch

I’ve been invited to a Tudor watch party/event in a fancy rooftop cocktail bar Through my watch dealer. I’ve never been to anything like that before and I’m trying to pick which watch to wear I will be wearing a dress shirt and smoking jacket trusty gray chequered trousers. So i know my Royal day date is a better match for the outfit. However my black bay gmt on the jubilee is more interesting with it being a watch event and watch people might be a good Conversation starter.

What’s people’s thoughts on it?

I would go with the Royal day date. It is going to be the more unique piece and give you a conversation point with fellow Tudor fans.

Thanks good point

Thank you, I hope you enjoy the event! Let us know how it goes.

Always a good idea to wear a watch from the featured manufacturer. Been to several of these over the years and they are normally pretty fun. Relax and enjoy the event. 😀

Cool thanks

Wear the Day Date. I've been to a few events and most relevant, is a Tudor one recently. You will see so many black bays -divers, gmt, bronzos, silver bb even chrono pandas but less of the Royal and two tone variants of the above. So wear the Royal to be a little different. But that said, go with your gut wear what suits ur mood.

Thanks yeah I’m leaning more towards the day date it is my party watch as well

You’ll probably see a ton of black bays there. If you want a conversation starter, go with something that’s less often seen. Have fun!

·

I go with the group day date definitely

·

Double wristing. Seriously I'd do it.

·

Day date

·

Royal Date. Enjoy!

Thanks very true ha

The Royal no doubt, it's the less common and more interesting Tudor.

Once attended an event hosted by BBB BMW, Breitling and Boss, was pretty lame also. A lot of married guys caught hell from their wives trying to impress the gorgeous models hired for the event.

My in laws used to host some events for personal passionate events, I was always the unwashed son in law included because of their daughter, haha. On one occasion some guest criticized my blue top coat over black tuxedo when we were leaving. He said that I wasn’t being respectful enough.

Ahh, fuck those guys, it's way more fun being one of the great unwashed that lucked their way into an invite than someone who actually deserves one! … and I think I'd rather offend guys like that than actually be someone who fulfils their expectations!

Spent my whole life on the other side, haha. My retired accountant calls me an effing socialist! Love the compliment but I am not. Not enough guts.

Life of a single guy? Only Bond movie for me was Goldfinger!

Sadly I’m not that good at single life I just work a lot and ride my motorcycle haha

You live a pretty great life! Trust me I follow your adventures! Have a great day because I know you always do!!

·

I vote for the GMT however, it’s likely that you’ll be one of the few wearing the Royal Day/Date if you go with that choice.

·

Some meetup goers were a watch on each wrist as well.

·

Anything but a snowflake hand! The other one is really nice so def. go for that!

Haha they will be a lot of snowflakes about haha I have to admit it took a bit to warm up to not so much on my Pelagos 42 with the square markers and the history behind it i think it gets a pass but Controversy time I much prefer them over the Mercedes hands 😱🤣

·

Both great pieces no wrong answers

Enjoy either choice

·

Go with the Royal and talk about the BlackBay :)
