What’s Your Favourite Seiko??

So after buying the SPB153 , it made me think what is my favourite Seiko!! See I love each and everyone of mine for different reasons! From my Seiko Arnie to the Sarb 033, But I’d still have to say my weekly beater the SKX 013 still holds the top spot for me!;)

what about you?;)

Picking between these two is like picking a favorite child. Can’t do it.

These are my three favorites, and I have a hard time picking which one is my overall favorite Seiko.

I know a lot of people don't like the kinetic watches because the rotor can be quite loud, and I can definitely hear the rotor in my Kinetic GMT, but it is still one of my favorite Seiko watches and right up there with my "Arnie" and my Presage Cocktail. It is not clear in this picture, but there is a vertical pinstripe design on the inside disc of the dial. The hands in the GMT are the same design as the Cocktail, excepting for the GMT hand, and the indices are similar to the Cocktail. Overall, I think it looks great and will remain in my collection.

(Image failed to load!)I really wanted a small seiko tool and fell in love with the 7002-7010… love the case perfect for my 17cm wrist and love the history..

Made only from 1989-1990 for the Japanese market. The only seiko 5 without a day function and a tachimeter scale..

a prototype or a mistake? I love it

That is a nice variety of Seikos.

With the endless variation of Seikos out there, I'm absolutely certain that I haven't met my favorite Seiko yet.

I love penguin feet 🔥

I mean the dial lol

·

First time i laid my eyes upon the turtle, i hated it. First time i put on the turtle on my wrist, still hated it.....

Until seiko brought out the king turtle... Still cant say i love it, but i do like the green waffle dial, with upgrades like ceramic bezel (dont like shinny stuff) and sapphire crystal (dont like the candy bar)... BUT i quietly send them my money...

Now with this...

Alongside a black day date kanji wheel, some other bezel insert and a single domed sapphire which will be installed..... Yes i officially am in LOVE with it.

It’s the model that made me love the Monster. And yeah that dial . . . ughhhhh . . . show me another brand that does dials like this at the sub $1,000 level.

Wow

You know, I really get the “Seiko Seiko Seiko” collector. Sometimes I think I could buy nothing but Seikos and still be perfectly happy. Sometimes. Until I see a Zodiac or Omega that makes my heart go pitter-pat.

It’s a Sisyphean lifestyle for sure. 😂

I love this Black, but the Green is the one I got and no regrets. The dark inky green dial is what did it for me.(Image failed to load!)

How good is Seiko combined with your Uncle Seiko!

·

Have long sold off all my Seikos. Favorites have been:

GS SBGX091 (absolutely regret selling it)

SBDC039 Transocean (miss it but wouldn't buy it again)

SARB035 (have owned one 2-3 times and loved the dial but just didn't stick...go figure)

Mine is the Seiko 5 x Rowing Blazers. It's my first Seiko and I was really impressed by the build quality and overall look. I featured it a photoshoot for my first YouTube video – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVOtNIYTKjjryuKPO447mhQ

·

I had a Seiko as a kid. A quartz one. Still may have it actually. But buy the looks of things maybe time to get a new one? 😜

It’s a better bracelet than what the black Willard comes with my friend. Still push pins but very high quality!

·

The Seiko 5 SNKL. I have both white and black, but the white is just such a pure watch. I also own some prospex but the old school shield logo Seiko 5's are my favorite Seiko offerings, and SNKL are top of that heap (with SNK a close second) The recessed crown, smaller case size and 7s26 (I like non-hacking movements) Kind of sad they aren't producing new ones anymore.

My god those are cool.  I have never even heard of these Sportura Chronos before! 🤯

My two Seikos in my collection, My SKX007J and Jade Monster.

·

I gotta say it’s hard for me to answer this question with anything other than the SPB143... but the Alpinist is a close second.

·

For mine it is definitely the Seiko Ginza Alpinist (SPB259) ❤. My first (hopefully last) impulse buy.

·

SRPC35 for me (J1 if I wanted to be really specific)

Wish the crown was at 4 o'clock though!

·

This one isn't special to anyone but me because it was my grandfather's.  But I love it!

Awesome to see all the Seiko love! So many cool Seikos, it's hard to choose. My favorite that I own, Seiko Prospex LX SNR049...
