Succession watch spotting. Any other shows?

My wife and I just finished the brilliant show Succession! The whole time I gushed at how the other .00001% lives and by that I mostly mean drooling at the crazy watches everyone was rocking.

Any other great watch spotting in TV shows?

I picked up where Billions left off for high-end pieces.

Mad Men is pretty good with vintage watches obviously, but actually spotting them is a bit difficult since everyone wears them under their shirts/cuffs

I’ve wondered if replicas are used on the show, such as the RM Kendall wears.

I thought that too. Between the locations, costumes, props, planes and cars, the watch budget is absurd lol.

On Ted Lasso, I’ve noticed Rebecca wearing a Cartier Santos and Edwin Akufo wearing a rose gold Royal Oak on leather. There are probably others, but I can’t think of it off the top of my head.

Was about to write it. There were quite many solid watches in there (Hamilton, TAGs, Cartiers and others).

Ted Lasso is still on my list. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Terminal List, Jack Ryan, Special ops: Lioness, The Covenant....All great shows in Amazon and a wide array of Tactical, Adventure and Field watches.

A few surprise brands, especially Jake Gyllenhaal. 🤔🎉😎

I believe I read that the actor that plays Kendall was actually gifted the RM by RM under the understanding that he would wear it in the show.

Basically any stand-up comedy special on Netflix is great for this. Watches and comedians just go together.

For a small man/large child, Kevin Hart’s got a GOD TIER collecione…Nico and Mr. Wonderful combo

Shrinking - Harrison ford rocks an IWC mark series and I think Jessica Williams wears a Nomos Orion but it’s hard to tell. Watches or not, that show is 10/10

Agree it’s a great show…Harrison is killing it on that and Yellowstone

Community; joe mchale is a watch collector and is wearing personal pieces throughout the show

For All Mankind on Apple TV is one big ad for the Speedmaster, especially the season 1.

Well eveerything in the show is about the Space Race.

HBO doesn’t mess around with making sure every detail is right; they had a Hodinkee writer consult on the last season.

That was an amazing read! Thank you for passing it along.

I do this ALL the time.

Just finished Masterchef: Australia - Andy wears a Cartier Tank, Mel wears an Omega Constellation and Jock (RIP) wore a Rolex Submariner. Guest chefs were spotted sporting a SeaDweller, a GMT Master and a Hublot Fusion. Plus lots more I couldn't pin down.

Before that I was watching For All Mankind. Main character watches include Omega Speedmasters (of course), a Rolex GMT Master, a Bulova Accutron Astronaut and a roulette-dialed Timex Sprite that is to die for. And that's just season 1!

I also like to watch old re-runs of Perry Mason, The Avengers and Mission: Impossible. Pretty sure Perry wears a gold Alpina 598 on a Forstner-type bracelet, John Steed often has a Certina but it's never the same one and M:I (which has a LOT of wrist-shots since they check the time constantly) tends to scrub their dials but if they don't it's almost always a Lucerne.

Just follow professional tennis finals. Not often during the game, but when they get up to speak and receive their "medal" they pretty much all flash their watch sponsor.

Nothing specifically Merc but I use both iced over the last few years that Watch collecting definitely has changed they way I watch TV now lol. When ever I see a watch on a character I loose focus and only care about seeing a closer look to identify the Watch they are wearing
