The original F1 doesnโt get enough respect. It was awesome for its time, arguably saved Tag Heuer, and wears so nicely. It might have been the first hype watch - it certainly was the first I was aware of - so a collab with the kings of hype beast culture is full circle.
These are too pricey for me to get on a lark, but itโs awesome they exist.
No one except for the people making them and the few thousand people who can afford them have ever cared ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ
Ha, gotta save up for it. The steel model is reasonably affordable and justifiable, but rose gold is pricey. And I have a yard to redo this summer ๐
Funny, this past week, I all of a sudden got the idea that a Tank Americaine in rose gold would be an awfully nice addition to the collection. Photos like yours donโt dissuade me! ๐

I was there in September for work, and had a lot of fun watch (window) shopping too. Hope to go back again soon, and see more of the country than just Tokyo (though if Iโm there for a work trip, thatโs not likely).
