YouTube’s Rolex haters

I’m done with YouTubers who bang on about being done with Rolex.

It’s just getting boring. And it’s probably disingenuous anyway.

That's all. #rolex

It is the only Rolex talk that is of any interest to me. Although I do dislike it when they have caveats. Please just save the positive stuff and deliver pure vitriol. I don't care that their product is still good or that they were once a relevant and innovative company. Bring on the Haterade!

I never began with You Tubers but good for you!

Meh... Rolex is boring, it makes sense any videos about it would be as well.

I've watches a handful of those videos because I thought something of relevance would have happened.

After watching I concluded that "I'm done with Rolex" is clickbait du jour (worked on me obviously) and they go out of their way to make clear that there is nothing wrong with Rolex watches but they dislike the ecosystem surrounding Rolex. So I found that they're not Rolex haters - and no proud Rolex owner needs to feel under attack - but they use a clickbait title to criticise the stuff everyone is sick of at the moment.

Without any inside knowledge my guess is that for niche content like watch videos there are only so many topics that pull views; I'm done with Rolex, Tudor is so great except for this little detail, Grand Seiko is underrated, X is the new Seiko, something something Moonswatch... It's very repetitive when you watch the videos close to their release, there just are to many creators chasing our eyeballs with the same topics.

I watched the vid by Gary on I Like Watches where he starts the video, gets interrupted by 'The Call' and tells the caller he's in the middle of an 'I'm Dome With Rolex' vid.

Good for a laugh or two.

The "hate" for Rolex is all about their marketing & jealousy, not about the watches themselves.

If it were possible to walk into an AD today and pay cash for the Rolex of our choosing, every single "hater" would have that Rolex by the end of the day.  I would bet my last dollar on that happening, if the supply of cash & watches were sufficient.

I don’t even watch any Rolex videos unless it’s a specific model I’m researching. Even then if the headline sounds clickbaity I avoid It.
I like Rolex and I want a couple of Rolexs.
it’s funny how the anti watch snobs actually become snobbish when it comes to Rolex 😅🙃

Confession: I like Rolex, but I don't love it. I've handled a couple borrowed from my friends. Are they good watches? Definitely! Am I getting one the first second I have the money and they are all available? No. The same goes with Omega. Maybe it is because there are so many of them around and I've seen them so often that I got bored. Maybe that's the case. So I'm done with Rolex 😂

I like Rolex.  My AD won’t sell me any right now so I’ve been exploring other brands with great satisfaction.

There’s a couple more Rolex models I’d like to add if/when the market opens up again.  Until then, I’m perfectly fine researching, shopping and buying what actually is available.

·

Yeah screw them....but takes anything they have available.

·

I might never own a Rolex but you either love it or hate it for sure they are a good tool watch just all depends on the person who willing to pay for what its worth.

·

To be followed up by the equally click-bait, “The Rolex bubble has BURST”, “There is no Rolex Bubble!”, and “Why I was WRONG about Rolex” videos… Each accompanied by a thumbnail with this type of face:

After 17 Rolexes, yeah I'm done with them.

·

There is only one Rolex on my list and that is the Milgauss.  None of the others interest me.

That was my gateway Rolex (the z-blue version).  The first one that ever made me even consider the brand.  Got that in July last year...and just got my 4th...
