I run a YouTube guitar channel who's tagline is "...where we're interested in helping you get the most music from the least gear". So I'm interested in "what's enough" and that led me to digital minimalism, which led me back to wearing a watch, which led me to all the great content on collecting in the watch world...the rest is temptation and the need to build a minimal, and perfect two or three watch collection.

I didn't know that model. I'm not a diver, just looking for rugged and simple but I see they also make the VHP quartz in a GMT...interesting.
Surprised this didn't generate more "noise". I've been eyeing these, being the practical (lazy?) quartz watch newbie that I am. I love the 1837, art deco thing. Seems like a good everyday (don't get it wet) sort of watch and in black should be a real strap monster!
I've realized this. My wrist measures 50 mm across the top, so I've been scouting short lug watches like the Christopher Ward C60 Trident 300. 39mm but lug to lug of just 45mm.
