Vintage dress watch?

Running the YouTube channel basically means I'm sitting in front of a computer writing most days. So I don't need a dive watch, I need something waterproof and then something dressier.

So...what classic sort of gold, 36mm dress watches do you recommend? Can be quartz or handwind. Also where's the best place to learn about vintage watches?

As always, I'm looking to the Cruncher Braintrust for educating me. ๐Ÿ™‚. Thanks in advance.

One of the Genta designed "C" shape Omega's would fit your requirements.

To get clued up it's worth joining one or two of the Omega forums on Farcebook, they're a good place to buy too.

Good luck ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Is you want the Vintage Look and โ€œEthosโ€ without the headache and the minefield that is vintage, then I highly highly recommend https://www.lorierwatches.com/

Acrylic (true to vintage) and even the other parts are tastefully done. I have their Hyperion.

Thanks Sam. I'm looking for more of a dress watch in this case. I may well end up in my micro-brand universe with a Kuoe Royal Smith or some such but wanted to hear from the crowd. Thanks!

Buy the dealer not the watch. Reputation is everything with vintage watch dealing.

I've always loved vintage Hamilton watches. Some incredibly stunning vintage designs that are simple yet timeless. I particularly enjoy the coin edge, cases with "fancy" dials.
