My friend lent me his camera a couple of days ago and I’ve been shooting around. Photography is an interesting blend of science and art - some actions have obvious results while other decisions seem abstract and arbitrary. Nevertheless, I’ve been having a great time, and like watches, photography is a great hobby for those who are obsessive. It really takes hours to set up shots. I’m excited about a potential lifelong journey and wanted to document and share watch photos from my first few days of shooting.

Thank you!
Nice shots! I'm a terrible photographer and maybe one shot in 5 is worth posting here.

Haha that’s about the same ratio I’m working at now too. I went on a hike and was dismayed that I didn’t get a single good shot of my fiancée. Took like 300 photos!
😂😂😂
Just for you coffee drinkers
American Eskimo? Great doggie pix 🥰

That's right! She's the best 😀
Such a beautiful doggo! I have to ask which Seiko is that with the white dial, it's a beauty?

I house sat a friends AE and fell in love with the breed. To greet you, she would sprint across the house and leap into the air, allowing you to catch her without needing to even slightly bend down 😂

Haha yeah. They are really cute. Kind of mischievous if not trained properly which explains why they’re not a popular breed but I really love my dog

That’s the SPB293, Seiko Arita Porcelain dial. There‘s maybe half a dozen references with Arita porcelain as the dial material.
Here’s another time only model with a blue tint (SPB319)

Nice photos, cute dog!
Lovely watches and a great start to your photographic journey. Looking forward to seeing and hearing all about your learnings!
Nice shots. Love the floof. Is that SW US in the background? AZ maybe?

Love the #presage and the gray dial #grandseiko
Good looking shots so far, photography can definitely be a rabbit hole in lots of different areas. If you ever want to talk cameras or photography, feel free to DM me.
