I personally hate the dreaded cyclops. I'm talking to you Ball. Clearly, some of you like them, as some of the most wildly popular models have them. So I thought I'd take a poll and see what the hive had to say. You like them or not?

Exactly. The Cyclops actually makes it harder to see the date except when looking at the watch straight on, which I find awkward and uncomfortable.
It's the quickest and easiest way to uglify a watch.
Want it micro sized on color matched wheel, at 4:30 in a imperceptible porthole
Watch dial maintains complete perfect symmetry and my beloved date data is still there! 🤘
Honestly I just like the aesthetic of the cyclops, I don’t actually need it to see the date… Just like I don’t need a watch to tell time. I didn’t realize how many people hated it though.

I’m heartened to see how unpopular they are. I always found them repulsive in all iterations.
I have one with a cyclops and a flat crystal. I don't know if the two are mutually exclusive but I'd trade it for a domed crystal in a heartbeat.
I like a cyclops, as long as it actually magnifies significantly.
Not for me. I have one Citizen with it I bought to see if I could like it. Sorry, it’s a nice watch that screams ugly to me because of the cyclops. Tried it, don’t like it!
This is one of those things I hated until I tried it. I'd love some sort of seamless progressive magnification even more, but who doesn't like a big date?
I despise them, but it didn't stop me from getting my Glycine Airman DC-4, which has one.
