BB58 too small for 7.5" wrist?

I'm considering a BB58. (why is it a BB58? Shouldn't it be a BB 39?) I tried it on and think I could swing it, maybe a tad small. What say you? Is the 39mm BB58 too small for a 7.5" wrist?

No, the BB58 isn't too small.

If you can read it, it's not too small.

Should be fine! Works on my 7 inch wrist.

You're probably going to want to try it on.  No one can really answer the question definitively for you, as it really comes down to personal taste.  I'm at roughly 7.6" and think most 39mm cases look a bit small on my wrist. But there are those who have larger wrists than mine and absolutely love their 36mm Explorers. Truly, you never know what a watch is going to look or feel like until you fasten the band around your own wrist and then rotate to reveal it to yourself. There's nothing like it.

Thanks. I did try it on. It's right at the cusp, as best as I could tell from the few minutes I was able to try it, but my problem is I never know how these sort of things are going to sit with me until I've lived with it for a while. Hence the question. I'm going to make another trip over to the AD in a while here to try it on again.

I would say go for the Black Bay Heritage 41mm.  I get that the BB58 gets all the hype but the BB41 is as good in every way.  It fits on my much smaller wrist just fine and likely look and feel better on your larger wrist.

It’s a shame that the larger model gets lost in the hype of its newer, smaller sibling but it’s worth considering on its own merits.

Like others have said, it is all personal preference.  Still, I'm with you.  I have a 7.5" wrist and really like some 38-39mm watches BUT am worried about size.

My solution is to start wearing my old 36mm daily wearer from the 80s (DJ) which at the time I thought looked great on my fat wrist but now I think it looks like a child's watch.  If I get used to the 36mm again, the 38 and 39mm watches should be fine.  If not, it will be sad.

Every time I try on a BB58 it looks tiny (also a 7.5 inch wrist).  It is strange because I wear my 1675 with basically the same dimensions and I think it looks fine.  I can't really nail down what it is about the 58 that doesn't work for me.  I prefer the Heritage 41 better on my wrist.

I have had my eye on picking up the Heritage Steel from long before it was discontinued.

It’s not to small I’ve got a 7.75 inch wrist
