Stunner! I've got the chrono II in brown/black/silver and it blows my mind. The dial depth and light play is just insane. Despairingly my wife has essentially forced me to sell it (I didn't get her ok before I bought it, long story but you get the picture), will miss it once it's gone! Wearing it most days until that happens...

I think I shall introduce a range of 'sold out' unavailable watches. I'm not sure what the benefit would be, but it seems to work for these guys and Rolex, so I'll give it a go.

Not too sure about the nature of this comment but:
There is a significant difference between Kurono and Rolex. Rolex dealers play politics and force you to spend large amounts of money on other things in the store to give you the honor of buying one of their overhyped watches. They could easily produce more watches to satisfy the demand but they choose not to
Anyone could have purchased this watch from Kurono, they publish a time that an order window opens and anyone who buys a watch during that time can get one. If you are a prior customer you get an opportunity to buy one early. They are very small and have limited production capabilities.

I don't understand what you mean by "games". Kurono Tokyo is Hajime Asaoka's way of letting people that can't afford $50,000 watches to get a watch with his unique language. They are made in small batches because this isn't his primary business. Same thing as his Hiroshige watch accessories. He works with actual artisans to produce beautiful Urushi watch boxes and Inden leather straps. Yes, some of us buy Kurono not just because we love the watches, but some of us hope that next time we visit Tokyo we can score a meeting with Hajime Sensei himself and commission our own very watches. This isn't a "politics" marketing method. It's literally something that people nowadays don't understand. Actual scarcity. :end rant:
