Barton straps

Hey, I remember I had to wait like 3-4 weeks to get mine in France. Plus I had tax in the airport

Since this I order them on Amazon, ship is free and very quick. Only thing is that I cannot chose the buckle.

Never had any issue on the quality/sizing. Great straps even on nearly 1K€ watches

They do take a week or more to dispatch.

Especially if it is their standard shipping, it does take about a month before you receive the straps. Also depends on your country's custom, may prolong it.

I have only ordered them off of amazon and depending on the strap that I order I may get it quickly or I may have to wait a bit. Generally speaking I get them pretty quick, within a week or 2 at the most (free shipping)

Heck, it takes them a week or longer sometimes to deliver them in the States. Speed of delivery is not one of their strengths. 😡

I guess I’m pretty lucky. Amazon Japan delivery is 2/3 days max. The straps are comfy, No complaints.

There's been some funky international mail of late. I tried buying a single strap of CNS recently and the only shipping option they'd do for Australia was a $20 DHL delivery. For one strap? I didn't make the purchase and then got one of those annoying, automated, "Hey, did you forget to buy this?" emails. And I actually replied to it because, no I bloody didn't forget... I simply refuse to pay $20 for a courier to deliver a single strap so, what gives? And to their credit they actually wrote back and said Deutsche Post is having massive issues getting stuff down to here and has suspended mail services. Now, I know Barton wouldn't be using Deutsche Post, however, I wonder if logistically there's a bit of a cluster%$^# going on in general?

It is taking some time to have my purchase delivered. I know it is in transit and may have customs procedures next. I ordered last week of december and it has been a long wait so far.

I don't recall Barton taking an unreasonable amount of time to arrive nor did I have issues with communication.  But I'm in the USA.  My issue was with the color advertised vs. the actual color in person.  I wanted a red leather strap for my black-dialed Bulova Precisionist and it arrived looking pinkish.  I ended up returning it and ordered a bespoke strap from a guy in Indonesia.  Turns out it was the better choice.

Yea, I've ordered direct from them and it took over a week to ship. They definitely aren't in a hurry to ship. Now once dispatched, delivery was quick. 

I tried to order one of their straps via amazon Canada about a month ago. I received word that my package had shipped... 

Then nothing... 

.. Then amazon informed me that my order was cancelled due to my package being returned to Amazon for being 'undeliverable', without any other explanation. I was refunded and ended up getting a Vario strap instead. 

I've ordered 3 times from CNS in the last few months, and received reasonable shipping to USA each time. I know that last year, Barton moved their headquarters from Austin TX to Dallas TX, not sure if that is causing any issues with their organization or timely delivery. 

I'm in the US,east coast and have never had a problem with many transactions with Barton.

Shipping to the USA is a different thing to what I was talking about. The OP is in Australia. I am in Australia, too. Hence why I thought it was worth noting my Australian-centric example. I have no doubt that post from CNS is meanwhile flowing merrily to many countries around the globe as I type this.

I placed an order almost two weeks ago.  I did email them, since they are usually prompt and there’s been no shipping information yet.  They did respond and said that they are behind currently post holidays.  I’ll cut them slack for another week or two because I’ve had great experiences previously.  If there’s still no shipping information after four weeks I’ll consider canceling and ordering elsewhere.

Well, if I choose to cancel I’ll reach out to them directly via email.  They did respond when I inquired regarding the delay in shipment, and I have had nothing but positive experiences with Barton in the past.  I’m inclined to give them a reasonable amount of time to get sorted post holidays.  I live in the US, and free shipping has usually been taking about week and a half on my previous orders, if memory serves.  I believe in them, and am willing to be a bit patient.

I placed an order and got tired of waiting so I placed another order from StrapsCo A few weeks later. I complained to their customer service and was about to cancel my Barton order if the StrapsCo got here first. The StrapsCo got here yesterday and coincidentally I got an email from Barton that my original order shipped that same day.

I have a couple other Bartons with Horween leather that I like a lot So I’m glad that they finally shipped. I guess I’ll have a couple extra straps to try. Another Horween and an elite silicone are coming.

I guess you just need to be patient with them…

I’m at three weeks and counting without a shipment date yet.  It’s a shame, because Barton used to be a good reliable company to buy from.  I just sent an email to cancel, because the straps were a gift and it’s already too late.  How was the quality of Strapco?  I’ve never ordered from them before, and am now looking at new options.  Thanks.

The 20mm from Strapco seems comparable to what I’ve gotten from Barton. I’m wearing a leather right now.

‘BTW…I’m whole on my Barton orders now. They took a while to ship but their product seems very good.
