Leather watch bands for the slim wristed

I have a fairly slim wrist and most standard watch bands leave me with an unflattering tail creeping over the side of my wrist. For sportier models, I've been using Barton's elite silicone straps which have two separate lengths for the tail section included and the smaller one fits perfect. I'm hoping to find something similar for some of my dressier watches without breaking the bank and getting something custom. Any recommendations?

Try Etsy. I have bought a couple of exotic leather watch bands on Etsy and some of the people who sell their custom make the watch straps to your wrist size. BTW, I have that very watch. You may have to communicate a bit, since that watch is a bit large in order to get a good fit, minus the tail.

Oh lord. I used their instead of there. I need more coffee.

You might try Bison watch straps. They make some shorter sizes.

Take a look at finwatchstraps.com if you can afford $60 or so. They do made-to-order leather straps starting at that price (and going up, a lot). I've purchased at least 15 of their straps over the years and been very satisfied. The 2 to the right are some of their lower priced straps, the other 2, not so much.

Hirsch and Rios1931 have small sizes that come in 104/72mm. They can be found for under $40USD.

A little bit expensive but Delugs are brilliant and come in three lengths.

·

Yip. Get a couple made to your spec. Plenty of makers out there and if you get a black and a brown on quick change spring bars then your good to go 👍

I second Etsy, lot of amazing straps ans some folks will do custom jobs.

Only downside is that if you’re in the states the strap makers are often in UK or Singapore or Hong Kong so the straps can take a bit to arrive.

Recently I started buying my straps at Tuns Store, good quality, good price and 3 different sizes. My wrist is 6,5”, the M works perfectly.

My wrist is 6.5, I have a Barton leather that fits just right on a 45mm lug to lug watch :

And it's pretty affordable same price range as the rubber

You might try a deployment buckle style. I got one from Etsy. Or the obvious NATO style strap

·

Yeah I second responses for bespoke makers that will factor in your wrist length. You could also get a deployant strap that tucks under, so there's no overhang

·

Forget the strap… I love that watch 🔥

Etsy is your best bet for custom strap and reasonable prices for a good quality leather.

Try Harpy Leather on Etsy, you can customise the strap from different length options to choice of stitching colors.

I also bought from Tuns leather on Etsy. Very happy with what I received and the price.
