Unless you plan on leaving the watch on a plush pillow inside a safe forever, it’s going to get scratched and show signs of wear. After all, the watch is called the EXPLORER. It’ll be fine—just enjoy it.
It’s the Terrasport II. I love it on the black leather strap as well, but the bracelet just makes it more versatile (been around the pool a lot lately). It’s a shame the strap and bracelet don’t have a quick release because I would alternate between the two all the time.
I think it looks great on that leather. It’s a shame it came on that bracelet—I think the traditional Trainmaster bracelet (the one with the parallel polished links toward the inside that some say look like train tracks) is the best bracelet I’ve ever worn.
Good-looking watch for sure. I’m on the fence between this model and a Damasko DS30 for my next watch—I’m torn. But if I had to choose, I think I like the aesthetics of the Sinn a little more.
