Great review. I have owned the predecessor to this model for 8+ years now, and it’s still ticking. I recently replaced the strap because the retaining piece/loop broke a while back, and it’s essentially a new watch now.
It’s not so much that I’m worried about the watch itself since it’s running perfectly. I mostly want to understand what’s going on so I can know if I can store this watch next to my other watches etc.
I’m kind of indifferent…don’t love it, don’t hate it. But it’s really a shame to be so opinionated on it that you pass on a watch because of it considering it can be removed.
Dude, nobody would have even noticed that if you hadn’t pointed it out. But unless you plan on leaving that thing in a safe indefinitely, it’s going to show signs of wear. They give the watch character—enjoy it.
