Yes, so far Delugs, and on Etsy. Delugs is no option because of import costs, and I don't trust Etsy products. I'll keep looking. Quick release is getting more popular, so 3rd party will probably get bigger in the future!
Hey nice choices of watches on your wishlist!
If you are saving up money for a rolex in the future it would do no harm to buy this lovely Omega. Why? Well the money is sitting at the bank doing nothing, you can allocate the money in to this Omega, and when the time comes that you have saved up enough to get your desired rolex, you sell this watch for probably more that you bought it for. In conclusion, you got payed to wear a watch that you love (at least that is how I see it). It's only recourse allocation, and you are the sole benefitter👍
Good luck with making the decision!
First three pics are amazing, and I agree with you 100% I would wear the shit out of those watches. But as a proud and happy owner of a speedy reduced from 1989 I don't understand how you could not want to wear a speedmaster. Just because almost every watch enthousiast owns it, doesn't mean you shouldn't. I mean everyone has their own opinion, but there are some things in life where just every body agrees on, and I feel like the speedmaster is that for the watch world. The elegance and usefulness is for me the perfect combination.
Let me know what you think!
For me it would depend on my collection in general. I mean you couldn't do wrong picking either of the two watches, they are gorgeous! But for me, already having two omega's would definitely pick the Tudor. Apart from that, you basically buy a Rolex explorer for a third of the money, and the quality is basically the same. A no brainer for me.
Good luck making the decision!
If I look at my collection, I can't get rid of any watch. Every watch I own either serves a purpose or has sentimental value, cheap or expensive. I don't think I can ever sell a watch. Maybe that changes when I'm older and my tastes changes along the way. We'll see...
If you have any suggestions for my first Hamilton, I would love to know. You are more familiar with the brand, maybe you have some tips for me?
No Hamilton yet, I hope to add one to the collection some day. For now I've bought to many watches. Picking up a Santos de Cartier this Saturday. After that I need to safe up money again :/
