When I got my first serious watch (Seiko Air Diver's) when I was 18. Me and my buddy always talked about getting an Omega, and that happened this year!
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Pulsar (don't know the model, its gone unfortunately)
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Yes, my Rolex Datejust ref. 16234. I got a little heritage money from my grandmother passing, and was looking for a watch from my birth year. Months before buying the watch I saw the picture that I use as profile on Instagram and immidiatelly fell in love. 3 Months after when I went to the dealer, there it was, the exact watch from 2001. Meant to be in my opinion.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Do more than enough research on the watches you buy, even though they're cheap, make sure this is what you want.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Omega, Tudor, Tissot, Rolex, Seiko, Jaeger-Lecoultre & Cartier (just the Santos and the Santos Dumont)
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I would say the Rolex GMT Pepsi with a Jubilee bracelet. From my collection the Speedy Reduced might be classified as a Grail watch but not sure.
