Hey, everyone!
Just joined and this is my first post. Thought I’d check this site out after hearing about it a few times. I’ve been into watches most of my life. Started when I was a kid in the 90s and my pops got me a Freestyle Shark at a dive shop. In my opinion most of the best design cues came from the 50s-70s. I’m also into watch history, especially pertaining to the military. Just a little about me.
Perhaps now that I’m among fellow nerds, I don’t have to bore my poor wife any longer! Looking forward to chatting with you and hope you all have a great day!

Thanks, I already have my feet on the desk. She’s been known to roll her eyes at me occasionally but she puts up with me. Just like I put up with her cooking! Kidding. She’s an amazing woman and wonderful cook.

In the 90's I owned a third of Booyaa a well known SoCal clothing company that specialized in fishing shorts then eventually other apparel. We had booths at all the Fred Hall and many other Outdoor Sports shows and our merchandise in many tackle shops. We eventually started sponsoring MMA too via King of the Cage before selling the company to the producer of the TV show Survivor. Good times!

No Hamilton yet, I hope to add one to the collection some day. For now I've bought to many watches. Picking up a Santos de Cartier this Saturday. After that I need to safe up money again :/

If I look at my collection, I can't get rid of any watch. Every watch I own either serves a purpose or has sentimental value, cheap or expensive. I don't think I can ever sell a watch. Maybe that changes when I'm older and my tastes changes along the way. We'll see...
If you have any suggestions for my first Hamilton, I would love to know. You are more familiar with the brand, maybe you have some tips for me?
