Just found out that my 1990’s G-Shock (The Walter) is only programmed with a calendar through 12-31-2019.  Guess I’ll be going through my days never knowing what the current date is. 😁

Does this mean that Casio had little confidence in how long the watch would last? 😆

They figured it would get Y2K'd to death anyway, so why program the calender much further.

I have a Seiko Memory Bank calendar watch from 1980 with a similar issue. I have it set to 1994, and the calendar matches 2022.

That is fascinating. I'm curious how long current models will last. I have a G shock mudmaster and now I need to know how far out my calendar goes.
