Was my daily until I got my tudor. Can't go wrong. Almost purchased the ranger and not the black bay, but the traska hits all my boxes to where I couldn't justify the ranger. Fit and finish is fantastic. My only hang-up was getting the sand colored dial and not the blue or black. Wanted to go slightly different but really enjoy the watch. Won't ever get rid of it. I have recently discovered this feeling myself. Really hard to take off. So comfortable, perfect dimensions. keeps great time. Speaks elegance without being boastful or flashy. Strap monster so options are endless. A true go anywhere do anything watch. Looks good with a suit. Looks good in a t-shirt. Water resistance rating is high. More than capable of going into the shower or the ocean. Why would you need anything more? No date was a con at first. But really not a deal breaker and no need to have to adjust anything if you let the power die out. Simply wind it and set it to the time. Price point is definitely matching the quality and reputation. No hubbub. 10/10 would recommend.

Unfortunately alaska does not have any casinos or good gambling options. We have a state lottery but its a farce. I do pretty well on scratchers when I visit the lower 48. When I was in Nashville a few weeks back spent 100 and made 300. Also picked up my tudor when I was down there!

They were all in separate bags with other crap no name watches. Lolol. There was a seiko alarm chronograph in the one with the movado. Turned out to be a hunk of junk :( non repairable in my opinion.

So, after cleaning all of the wrist cheese out of all of the watches, new batteries and straps. I can honestly say I am utterly disappointed with the ventura. It is keeping excellent time! But the fit and finish of the piece has left me feeling moorish. A bit underwhelming and not as excited or enthusiastic on the find. It's like meeting your hero in real life. Just not very cool in my opinion. The story behind the watch being CIA tech, Elvis sponsored, in one of my favorite movies still isn't enough for me to even try and like it.
