TRASKA WATCHES
Anyone ordering tomorrow? On the fence about ordering one at release. I don't want to wait to long and have stock sell out quick. But also have never had a watch with a miyota movement before. They offer beautiful pieces. Just don't know if they are worth the 600-700 dollars. This would be my first experience with a micro brand as well. Any information would greatly help. Cheers!

I have been on the fence like you for months. I read some negative reviews for their prior runs that there was quality control issues. Sadly, I also read the same for their recent releases. I even saw a brand new Freediver on eBay a guy was getting rid of under retail. The date window was very poorly aligned. I don’t think the full retail price is worth the gamble for me.
I am thinking about it. I like some of their watches, the Commuter mostly. Unsure about their quality but I haven't done much digging. I think they are quite expensive for a Miyota 9000 equipped watch from a Microbrand so it better be good.
I like the look of the Venturer. Good thing it’s not being sold tomorrow. Nothing to tempt me. 😆
I got the new summiteer. No issues as far as I can tell. It’s my first Traska, so we’ll see how it goes over time.
I've been happy with mine. The finishing is approximately on par with other watches I've bought in this price range.
Although that only goes so far, when you can easily find >$700 level finishing on a <$300 watch these days.
I looks great and wears really comfortably. Outside of watches where something about the movement is a major selling point, I don't care much about that aspect. Hands go 'round, we're good.
I jumped into one. It's on the way! I'll share my experience once it has been received.
